Are wedding bells ringing for Raymond Lam and Karena Ng?

According to the Hong Kong media, Raymond Lam and Karena Ng are currently in the midst of wedding preparations, less than a year after their high-profile relationship came to light.

It was reported that Raymond’s father, a devout Buddhist, has secretly flown to Hong Kong to visit the Karmapa (head of the Karma Kagyu, a school of Tibetan Buddhism), whom he hopes will witness the wedding.

Raymond’s dad and sister were also believed to be holding their discussions with the actor at his mansion after they were spotted in the vicinity last Thursday.

Despite earlier reports claiming that Mr. Lam has been unhappy with Karena’s spending habits, he is said to have accepted his future daughter-in-law because of his son, and even intends to throw a hundred-table banquet in their hometown Xiamen.

Both Raymond and Karen have denied the marriage rumours, while the actress reiterated her wish to focus on her career at the moment.

DaDa Chan Jing worked on a campaign for a slimming beauty company for the third year. This year she will not release any photo book. She admitted that photo book did not make as much money as acting. Fala Chen and Daniel Sit on the verge of breaking up

Rumours are rife that Fala Chen and her Neway heir partner, Daniel Sit's relationship is currently on a rocky path.

As reported on HK Channel, the issue started when Daniel's father impeded his plan to invest in Fala's new venture, an artiste management and recruitment company.

Sources claimed, "Daniel's father now favours his younger brother, Ernie since his wife, Maria Zhuge is pregnant. He doesn't want Daniel wasting money for Fala's business."

Sources alleged that Daniel's decision to not invest in Fala's company resulted in a quarrel between the two and that Fala had headed to United States to further her studies without the company of her partner.

The actress further fuelled the squabble when she updated her Weibo and posted, "I choose to remain silent because I do not want to lie. This is the last I could do for you and me".

Despite that, Fala denied that it meant anything, saying that it was just a lyric from a song.

Joe Ma returns to TVB for new series Tiger Cubs 2. Yesterday the press conference was held, the cast including Joe, Linda Chung, Oscar Leung, Him Law, Mandy Wong, Christine Kuo, Benjamin Yuen, Timmy Hung and Grace Wong attended. TVB also pushed out a birthday cake to celebrate his 45th birthday.

Fala Chen Indirectly Admits Break Up with "Neway Prince", Rumored Split Assets

Fala Chen's relationship with boyfriend, "Neway Prince" Daniel Sit Sai Hang, had been always been a hot topic in the entertainment circle. All along, it had been rumored the couple were secretly married, but recently it was reported the couple broke up ending their 7 year relationship and have already started the paperwork to split the assets. It was rumored Fala asked her boyfriend to provide the capital to start her own artist management company, so she can manage herself and produce TV series. Not only will she able to promote herself, she can also promote newcomers. However, Daniel's father wasn't willing to make the investment, thus the idea failed. It was said Fala and Daniel got into a fight due to this matter, and Fala moved out of their 'love nest' where they cohabited. Because Fala had been in the US for her studies, she was unable to respond.

Yesterday afternoon, Fala was back in HK to attend an event with Moses Chan and responded to the rumor. There's no one else who can celebrate Father's Day like Nicholas Tse does. After it was reported that he sold Patrick Tse's house and rented a more expensive home, the actor continued his lavish spending for his father by buying him a new luxury car.

According to Groove Asia website, the 33-year-old actor bought a new Rolls Royce, estimated at a price of USD 647,000 for the 77-year-old veteran actor, and forked out another USD 26,027 to buy an exclusive license plate number.

In addition to that, it was reported that the Rolls Royce also comes with a chauffeur to drive Patrick around.

When asked about the lavish gifts his son gave him, Patrick, who was seen in central Hong Kong recently, commented, "I am very happy with it, but an amount of retirement fund is missing!" - hinting light-heartedly that Nicholas might not have given him his monthly allowance recently due to the purchase.

The film BLIND DETECTIVE (MAN TAM) is director Johnnie To Kei Fung, Andy Lau Tak Wa and Sammi Cheng Sau Man's 10 year reunion. Wa Jai joked that To Kei Fung's personality was the character's blue print. "I completely cloned how he mercilessly yells at people." Wa Jai said that
during the shoot To Kei Fung "sang after scolding at him". He said, "As soon as the production began I had to blindly run around in a forest. I had no action director or protective padding, I never stopped. With so many people on the set, I couldn't mess up. After 4 takes I said that my clothes were soak through and I had to change. After a 20 minute break I had to shoot a tree climbing scene. At the time I was suffering, I was out of breath. I didn't expect To Kei Fung to say 'you are old'. At the time I wanted to jump on him and hit him. In the end the scene was still cut. Later at the press conference he sang that my strength was on the decline." He joked that next time he would not work with To Kei Fung on an action film again.

Wa Jai complained that when they made RUNNING ON KARMA (DAI JET LO), To Kei Fung saw Li Bingbing perform a mid air stunt and took the chance to yell at him. "Even a girl can do it, yet you can't." Wa Jai joked, "Why would I dare to talk back? I am afraid of being embarrassed. From his movies everyone know how crazy he is."

To Kei Fung has not yelled at Sammi yet. "Maybe he knew that I was thick skinned. After yelling at me I would lose all my hair from the fright and become unable to act!" In the film still, Sammi displayed her three inch career line. She joked, "By chance the lighting was right, I of course had to show off. Normally I just keep it hidden, actually I have a 7 inch career line!"

It was TK TEAM’s night on June 20, as they claimed the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy, winning in a thriller 95-88.

Built around veteran Tim Duncan, the Spurs have won four titles in the last 14 years. Though fans are debating whether or not the quote is actually a dig at Beyoncé, it wouldn’t be the first time Shirley has called the singer into question.
During an April 2013 interview with the UK’s Guardian, Shirley discussed Beyoncé’s decision to “restrict” the photographs being taken of her to avoid “unflattering” images in the media. Here’s what Shirley said:

Who knows what her motivations were, but I am somewhat baffled to even begin to understand why this unstoppable force, this incredible performer, this fully empowered business woman and successful star has allowed herself to be flapped by what the media has deemed ‘unflattering’ images.

It seems that, while Shirley fully respects Beyoncé as an artist, she isn’t afraid to question her occasional decisions — which seems to be exactly what Rihanna has done, as well.

First, Nicole hit the carpet for the Venus In Fur premiere at the Grand Theatre Lumiere on May 25. She wore a Chanel dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Fred Leighton jewels.
She rocked a slightly goth eye makeup look, wearing a dark brown eyeshadow. Her skin was smooth and flawless and she wore a dark red lip. Her blue eyes really popped against her whimsical hair. Although it just looked like a teased bun from the front, she back was intricately braided and twisted into a spiral bun of braids.
On May 26, Nicole looked stunning in a plunging white Giorgio Armani gown. For this look, she rocked a black smokey eye and wore false eyelashes. Her pinkish-red lip looked gorgeous against her outfit. Her hair was extremely voluminous and filled with tiny braids — it looks like there were about 10 braids, coming from all sides of her head!
She must be hiding a sock bun under those braids because there was just so much hair!

We first saw the star at the Zulu premiere during the Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony at the Palais des Festivals in France, where she stepped out in a metallic strapless Atelier Versace gown. The custom-made ensemble featured a dramatic, sweeping train while the draped bodice stood out thanks to silver Swarovski crystal embellishments. The actress wore her hair in a side part and it was slicked back into a low bun at the nape of her neck. Her choice of styling was smart, because if she wore her hair down it could have taken away from the gorgeous gown! While the actress looked absolutely amazing, that wasn’t the only look we saw on her that night!
The actress managed to squeeze in a frock swap before attending the winners’ dinner at Agora in a plunging black gown that fit her frame like a glove. For the second time in one day, the star put her assets on full display thanks to the low neckline. The sparkling dress was truly show-stopping. Cutouts on the shoulders allowed her to show some skin in a sexy yet chic way, while she stuck to the same ‘do which kept the focus on the silhouette of the dress. The frock cinched in her waist and the actress paired the ensemble with a pair of flat sandals. While most stars wouldn’t dare to wear a pair of flats on the red carpet, Uma had no issues with her choice of footwear! After all, she does stand tall at 5’11″ — she’s like model material! Although she changed her dress she relied on the same dazzling jewels to polish off her ensemble.

Innovative cyclist alert-and-brake car system Introduced by Volvo

Volvo has announced it is releasing a cyclist detection facility which should prevent deadly accidents.  The Chinese-owned group introduced the aspect at the Geneva Motor Show. The auto firm supposed that vehicles fitted with the system will be able to detect threats including a cyclist unexpectedly swerving out into a car's path. It held that if a crash risk was detected an alarm would sound and the car's brakes would be fully deployed.

The technology is an improved version of Volvo's ambler detection system which it launched in 2010. The knowledge is an enhanced version of Volvo's pedestrian detection system which it launched in 2010. The code which acts as the brains for the equipment has been rewritten to add the new characteristic, and its added intricacy has meant a more powerful processor is now needed. As a result Volvo cars fitted with prior versions of the product cannot simply install a software upgrade.
